The aim of my report is to describe how some teachers think about the concept 'A school for everyone'.

I have interviewed five teachers who are working in a small school in central Sweden. The result of these interviews showed that the teachers consider that the concept 'A school for everyone' was important. They didn’t think of the school we have today as 'A school for everyone' and according to their answers there is a lot of work remaining until we get there.

The result of the interviews and previous research shows that the lack of resources is a big problem in our school today and it’s also one of the reasons why not all pupils can get the help that they need. The interviews showed that school must improve its capability to individualise. They also showed that education for special needs is very important to be able to build a school that can meet the need from all pupils.

Syftet med denna rapport är att beskriva några verksamma pedagogers syn på ”En skola för alla”.

Jag har intervjuat fem pedagoger som arbetar på en mindre skola i Mellansverige. Resultatet av dessa intervjuer visade att pedagogerna anser att ”En skola för alla” är viktigt. De ansåg inte att skolan idag är ”En skola för alla” och enligt deras svar finns det mycket kvar att göra innan de når dit.

Resultatet från intervjuerna samt den tidigare forskning som gjorts visar att bristen på resurser är ett stort problem i dagens skola och också en stor anledning till varför inte alla elever får den hjälp som de behöver. Av intervjuerna framgick det att skolan måste bli bättre på att anpassa sig efter eleverna och inte tvinga eleverna att anpassa sig efter skolan. Att det krävs en bra specialpedagogisk undervisning för att kunna bygga upp en skola som klarar av att se till alla elevers behov var också en åsikt som kom fram under intervjuerna.
