Karlstad University, Faculty of Economic Sciences, Communication and IT, Department of Information Systems and Project Management.
1992 (English)In: / [ed] Stanislaw Wrycza, 1992Conference paper, Published paper (Refereed)
Abstract [en]

This paper will focus on linking the process of business modelling closer to the work with information systems development in organisations. The background is that we in our research discipline "Information Processing" have designed specific methodologies for systems development. But I have recognized that also researchers in the field "Business Administration" have created very important, general methodologies for business modelling of enterprises. Business modelling is often a continuous process in organizations and could be a good basis for staring up information systems projects. We have done som experiments wtih methodology coordination in order to transfer from business modelling to information systems developmnet.
