Abstract [en]
Startups are early-stage businesses that focus on innovation and growth, often relying on effective digital platforms to engage users, such as websites and applications. This study investigates the redesign of a logistics Startup website to enhance the user experience through a user-centered design approach based on Garrett’s UX model. The study utilized descriptive analysis and resulted in a new design featuring lo-fi andinteractive hi-fi prototypes, moreover, through usability testing and A/B testing with a smallparticipant group (2 x 5 participants), key issues were identified, including unclear navigation, confusing menu labels, lack of content and clarity, visibility of key areas and the absence offamiliar content structures namely, unfamiliar menu labels, and missing standard sections like“About Us.” Redesign efforts focused on improving navigation, information architecture, content visibility, and clarity. Moreover, the findings offer practical insights for startups looking to enhance user experience through UCD. This research can serve as a resource for UX designers, digital strategists, and startup owners as it provides practical insights for startups in constrained environments aiming to develop a more user-focused web design.
