Abstract [en]

Blue and green food systems share key resources—water, nutrients, and sediment—that move between land, freshwater, and oceans. However, these systems are generally managed separately, potentially negatively impacting food production and the environment. Managing blue and green foods as integrated systems is central to feeding the world healthy and sustainable food.
