The Art of promoting Health : A comparison of the view on culture and health in three of Region Västra Götaland’s cultural plans (English)
Abstract [en]

The purpose of this essay is to compare how the view of the relationship between culture and health is portrayed, and if it has changed overtime, in Region Västra Götaland’s three most recently developed cultural plans, i.e. the cultural plans for the years 2016–2019, 2020–2023, and 2024–2027. The method used in this essay is descriptive idea analysis. The comparison of the three cultural plans shows that the view of the relationship between culture and health is portrayed somewhat different, and that the view on culture and health has change overtime. The cultural plans focus on different perspectives of culture and health, such as a social perspective or an individual perspective.
