Utifrån behovet av ett digitalt planerings- och beslutsunderlag inom kommunens olika verksamheter har jag gjort en genomgång och analys av Skövde kommuns tillgängliga digitala och analoga fornlämningsdata och därefter integrerat geometriska data och attributdata i ett GIS. Detta har resulterat i ett ”signalsystem” för att tydliggöra i första hand fornlämningarnas placering men också vilken typ av fornlämning det handlar om. Jag har också redovisat ett förslag till en intranätlösning för att publicera uppgifter på ett lättillgängligt sätt för det interna arbetet i kommunen.

Due to the needs of digital basis for planning and decision within the municipalities different sphere of activities, I have made a survey and an analysis of the municipality´s accessible digital and analogue data over ancient remains. I integrated the geometrical and attribute data in a GIS. This has resulted in a ”signal system” first of all to locate the position and properties of ancient remains. I have also worked out a suggestion for a corporate web solution to publish information in a convenient and straightforward way for the municipality´s internal workflow.
