Although law and geography has grown into an important discipline in international legal scholarship it has just recently begun to make its mark in the Swedish legal academia. In this article, I discuss some legal geographical concepts that could have implications for how we understand the ontology of law. Starting in human geographic discourses on space, place, and landscape, I present a sketch of what I call a morphogenetic approach to law in the landscape.
