Can music help children/teenagers whit autism? In the study I have followed 4 children when they have music lessons. I wanted too see discover if there was any differences in the pupils behaviour before and after the music class. I chose to observe and I also intervjued the pupils parents and the special teacher. The Music pedagogic have used the FMT-method, there the pupils play drums and the pedagogic plays piano. The pupil’s works from the TEACCH- model, which is a structured teaching method. I got to se how the pupils reacted how they behaved when they didn’t get to finished there work before there music class.
