This essay was about how different schoolbooks through the years have described Islam, especially the Muslim women. I also choused too see if there were any other literature that you could complete or even replace the schoolbooks with. I choused a couple of schoolbooks that either are being used or have been used in the senior level and at the senior high school, some of them were older and some were more modern. I choused first too take parts of the text from the schoolbooks and then analyze them and also to give some short comments to the text. I later on developed my reasoning in the discussion section. After the discussion section I continued with the literature that I saw was appropriate too either complete or replace the schoolbooks. The examination showed that the older schoolbooks were increasingly worse in their description of Muslim women. If they even touch the subject it was a very stereotypical picture that was presented. The more modern schoolbooks had in general a higher standard and were better in their description of Muslim women.
