Simulering av grafiska gränssnitt - programvara för Ozlab2001Report (Refereed)
    Abstract [sv]

Challenging the HCI Concept of Fidelity by Positioning Ozlab Prototypes2006Conference paper (Refereed)
    Abstract [en]

This paper challenges the validity of the fidelity concept as used by the HCI community to describe different types of prototypes. This is done by attempting to position the Wizard of Oz methodology in this dichotomy. The Ozlab system, created at Karlstads University, extends the Wizard of Oz methodologys modalities to the graphical user interface (GUI). It is possible to categorise an Ozlab prototype as being of low- or high-fidelity depending on if it is the users or the developer's view of fidelity that is used. This in turn is caused by the fact that Wizard of Oz prototypes are perceived as real by the user even though the perception was made pos-sible by a human facilitator that manually provides the responses of the prototype. The dissociation between the perceived and implemented auto-matic behaviour is shown to be another, more adequate, way of comparing prototypes if the goals of prototyping is kept in mind, namely to explore user requirements

Multimedia prototyping without programming2003Conference paper (Refereed)
    Abstract [en]

Prototyping interactivity by programming is good but expensive if several different alternative approaches are to be assessed and cumbersome when it comes to testing many varieties of one and the same solution. At the conference we demonstrate Ozlab which is a tool for prototyping the interactivity of graphical user interfaces' without the need of programming

Ozlab a Simple Demonstration Tool for Prototyping Interactivity2002Conference paper (Refereed)
    Abstract [en]

A system for testing interaction design without the need for programming is described. This technique has the advantage of paper prototying allowing for rapid prototyping. In the same time it makes a prototype look real why it is possible to test the prototype as if it were a functioning piece of software
