Skrivutvecklande undervisning i klassrummet: En intervjustudie om lärares skrivundervisning

The purpose of the study is to examine how some teachers in grade 6 describe how their writing education enables all students to develop their writing. The study will answer the questions about how the teachers writing education promotes the students writing skills, the factors that affect all students to develop their writing, how they prefer to use the special teacher and how the education enable the students to be included.
Qualitative interviews have been made and are used as a method to fulfill the purpose and answer the questions at issue of the thesis. The interviews have been executed separately with the five selected teachers and are transcribed within a close time frame of the interviews. The development processes of the analysis have progressed in several steps to crystallize themes, reduce collected material and to highlight the socio-culture perspective of the study.
The result shows that the teachers are emphasizing dedicated and competent teachers with good relations to the students as one of the most important factors to succeed with the writing education. The interviewed teachers also describe the crucial part of the teacher since their choice can adapt the tuition after the students in the classroom, through the knowledge about the individuals. The result even shows that the teachers, in spite different educational backgrounds within this field, age and working places are teaching writing in similar ways to encourage the learning among the students. They promote a strong support from the teachers, interaction in the classrooms, use distinct text models and meaningful writing assessments to favor the development of the students. Within custom assignments, varying methods, approach, treatment and the use of special teachers in the classroom the teachers in the study tried to include all students. Through the results of the study further thoughts about development areas were discovered, in ability to improve the education of writing.
