Syftet med det här examensarbetet är att undersöka beröringsytor mellan skolämnena svenska och bild och att lyfta fram aspekter av ämnena som stärker och kompletterar varandra. Jag har utgått ifrån tesen att man kan se på svenskämnet som ett ”praktiskt-estetiskt” ämne och bildämnet som ett kommunikativt språkämne. Hur kan man utifrån det arbeta ämnesintegrerat med ämnena svenska och bild? Hur kan den undervisningen förstås i förhållande till estetiska lärprocesser? Sex lärare, tre svensklärare och tre bildlärare, intervjuas om deras tankar om dessa begrepp och aspekter av ämnena och de får berätta om hur de arbetar med dem i sin undervisning.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the contact areas between the school subjects Swedish and Art and to highlight aspects of the school subjects that will strengthen and complement each other. I started from the hypothesis that one regard the school subject Swedish as a "practical-aesthetic" subject and the school subject Art as a communicative language subject. How can one work subject integrated with the subjects of Swedish and Art? And how can that kind of education be understood in relation to aesthetic learning? Six teachers, three Swedish teachers and three Art teachers, are interviewed about their thoughts on these concepts and aspects of the subjects and they may tell you how they work with them in their teaching.
