Abstract [en]

The purpose of this study is to investigate if there are any differences in the activity in preschool with different directions (pedagogy) in how they plan and introduces the subject physics for the youngest children. Are different materials used and what knowledge is there in the topic. The implementation of the study was done by semi-structured interviews, which with its open-ended questions give the respondent the opportunity to be able to provide a stimulating response. The results show that the topic physics is not planned for in any of the preschool activities with the smallest children. Introduction to physics is usually something that is done in the context of the play and in everyday situations. This means that it is not used any specifically designed materials for physics. Physical concept was something that most of the teachers used and then with simpler explanations on its importance.
