: A study of preschool teachers´ attitudes in relation to children´s storytelling. (English)
Abstract [en]

This study takes its theoretical starting point in the narrative self that means that children can understand themselves of what their surroundings are saying to them. The purpose of the study is to enlighten how the teachers use picture books to help the children discover their narrative self. How do preschool teachers use the picture books as a tool to detect children narrative self. The poll was conducted through qualitative interwiews at two kindergardens belonging to two different geographic areas. In the interwiews, four preschool teachers participated. The study shows that pre-school teachers use the picture book for children to discover the narrative itself.
