Karlskoga Automation AB har under våren 2013 varit i kontakt med ett indiskt bolag, Solar Industries India limited, som tillverkar sprängkapslar. Företaget har kontaktat Karlskoga Automation eftersom de vill få upp sin tillverkningsnivå till Europeisk standard och därför automatisera tillverkningen som i dagsläget sker manuellt. Eftersom uppdraget är omfattande och väldigt brett, då kunden inte angett några specifika krav utan gett Karlskoga Automation fria händer, så har man ännu inte funnit tiden till ett sådant projekt. Med hjälp av informationom Solars tillverkning idag har jag utvecklat en konceptdesign på en automatiserad tillverkningslinje. Jag har även granskat och gett förslag på lämplig tillverkningsutrustningmed avseende på tillverkningsprocessen och SEKs handbok (en handbok för elinstallationer i explosionsfarliga områden). Samt gett förslag på lämplig styrhårdvara.Syftet var att utföra en förstudie och utveckla ett layoutförslag med passande maskiner och styrsystem. Förstudien ska senare vara underlag för en mer detaljerad studie. I resultatet presenteras en layout som utvecklats för att öka produktionen och säkerheten. Resultatet innehåller maskiner som tagits fram för de olika processerna samt ett passande styrsystem.

Abstract [en]

Karlskoga Automation AB has during the spring of 2013 been in contact with an Indian company, Solar Industries India limited. The company’s production is today totally manual and therefor they contacted Karlskoga Automation since they want to increase the production level to European standard and therefore automatize the manufacturing. Because the missionis comprehensive and very wide, as the customer has not specified any specific demands, but given a free hand, Karlskoga Automation has not yet found the time to such a project. By using information I received about the company’s production today, I have developed two different planning solutions/concept designs of an automated manufacturing line. I have also reviewed and provided suggestions for suitable manufacturing equipment for production with consideration to the manufacturing process, and even the SEC Handbook, a Handbook of electrical installations in explosive areas. Finally I have suggested an appropriate controlhardware.The purpose was to do a pre-study which includes a layout suggestion with suitable machines for the different tasks and a suitable control system. The idea is to use this pre-study as a ground for a more detailed study later on. The layout suggestion is presented in the result part. Where you also can read about the different machines that are chosen for the tasks and also a suggestion for a control system.
