The purpose of this study is to contribute knowledge about educators' work in promoting children's influence in preschool documentation. I have investigated how educators interpret the meaning of "children's influence" and how they work specifically to promote children's influence in preschool documentation. I used interview as a research method and I interviewed four educators in different preschools to share their views and perceptions of children's influence in the documentation. The result shows that educators believe that children have influence by being involved in the preschool activities through their choices and by making their voices heard. The result also shows that the educators base the process of documentation from the children's interests and preferences and that the children have a say in it in different ways. Educators believe that the iPad is an important tool in the process of documentation.
