Abstract [en]

Evaluating is important to assure quality during design and development of interactive multimedia as well as in reviewing of the final product. This chapter presents an evaluation methodology, which is both inexpensive and timesaving. In critically evaluating three multimedia cases, it is found that systematic models and methods have a great deal to offer in the field of quality interactive multimedia. Six European business schools collaborated in the years 1998 2000 in the production of several multimedia cases on small and medium sized and large companies. Stockholm School of Economics in Sweden developed three of them and these are presented as to exemplify the evaluation methodology. The survey introduces a methodology based on four tight integrated parts for evaluation: Learning Scenario, User Interface, Content and Technique
