Abstract [en]

This paper is a presentation of a pilot-study where DMT is used as an alternative treatment for young boys with the diagnosis ADHD. The aim of the study is to investigate and evaluate DMT for young boys with aggressive and destructive behaviour - symptoms related to ADHD. Thereby focusing physical as well as mental and socio-emotional changes.

It is a multi-disciplinary project with researches from two different areas. The project is a cooperation between the University College of Dance in Stockholm, the Department of Public Health at Karlstad University and the Clinical Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Karlstad. The project took place at BUP, Karlstad, during 2001-2004. This pilot-study will be presented in a report from the University College of Dance in June 2004. The final report will come in September 2005
