Abstract [sv]

Sammanlagt deltog 135 arbetstagare i undersökningen.

Abstract [en]

Everybody knows that working life has changed in the modern society. It makes increased demands on learning and competence development, it´s called that we live in a knowledge society. Competence development can lead to new knowledges, new learning and increased competence. Many employees forces to learn again and to learn new to keep up. My interest round this area aim at the attitudes to learning in working life. The purpose with this examination was to map out which attitudes that exists to learning in working life. The examination was carried out with help from a questionnaire which was distributed to two medium-sized industrial concerns. In all 135 emloyees took part in the examination. I examined how the attitude looked like in connections to age, sex, education background, time of employment and which comapany they worked on. Some interesting differences that I discoverd in my examination was that there were diffrences in the attitude to learning in connection to how long the respondents have been employed and there were also differences between the two companies.
