Abstract [sv]

I detta arbete har jag gjort kvalitativa intervjuer med verksamma musiklärare på gymnasiet, för att ta reda på hur de upplever att betyg och bedömning påverkar undervisningen. Jag har även undersökt hur lärarna upplever att betyg och bedömning påverkar elevers lärande och hur lärarna ser på användandet av summativ och formativ bedömning. Jag visar på tidigare relevant forskning och analyserar sedan intervjuerna ur ett utbildningssociologiskt perspektiv. Sedan diskuteras resultatet och arbetets giltighet.

Abstract [en]

In this work, I have conducted qualitative interviews with active upper secondary school music teachers, to find out how they feel that grades and assessment affect teaching. I have also studied how the teachers feel that grades and assessment affect students learning and how the teachers view the use of summative and formative assessment. I show previous relevant research and then analyze the interviews from an educational sociological perspective. Then the results and the validity of the work are discussed.
