Studiens syfte är belysa pedagogers uppfattningar och erfarenheter om estetiska ämnen i förskolan. Semistrukturerade intervjuer användes som metod och fyra intervjuer genomfördes. Studien utgår från fenomenologi som teori och analys där människors uppfattningar av ett fenomen är kärnan. Begreppen livsvärld och den levda kroppen används för att tolka de medverkandes erfarenheter och uppfattningar om de estetiska ämnena. Resultatet påvisar att pedagogerna använder sig av estetiska ämnen i förskolan men på olika vis och i olika grad. Slutsats är att drama är ett ämne pedagogerna är osäkra på, tidsbrist är något som nämns som en faktor som bidrar till att man inte jobbar så mycket som man vill med de estetiska ämnena.

The purpose of the study is to shed light on educators' perceptions and experiences of aesthetic subjects in preschool. Semi-structured interviews were used as the method and four interviews were conducted. The study is based on phenomenology as theory and analysis where people's perceptions of a phenomenon are the core. The concepts of lifeworld and the living body are used to interpret the participants' experiences and perceptions of the aesthetic subjects. The results show that the teachers use aesthetic subjects in the preschool, but in different ways and to different degrees. The conclusion is that drama is a subject the educators are unsure about, lack of time is something that is mentioned as a factor in not working as much as you would like with the aesthetic subjects.
