Abstract [sv]

drottslärares perspektiv på hälsa kan ses på olika sätt beroende på vilken egen värdering som läggs till begreppet. Idrottslärares perspektiv på ämnet kan variera och ämnet hälsas omfång i undervisningen kan variera beroende på lärare. Syftet med studien är att undersöka idrottslärares perspektiv på hälsobegreppet i kunskapsämnet idrott och hälsa. Studien handlar om idrottslärares relation till begreppet där de får uttrycka sina egna tankar och problematisera kring de utmaning och möjligheter som de upplever. De tre frågeställningarna studien besvarar hur idrottslärarna undervisar i hälsa, deras utmaningar i hälsoundervisningen och om deras bakgrund påverkar deras hälsoundervisning. Studien använder KASAM som teoretiskt ramverk. I denna studie bestod metoden av en kvalitativ metod med semistrukturerade intervjuer. Urvalet hade variation av kvinnliga och manliga idrottslärare där deras yrkeserfarenhet inom lärarprofessionen varierade. Resultatet visade på en gemensam huvudfaktor till valet av idrottslärare. Det fanns blandade utmaningar i hälsoundervisningen men svaren visade också på upplägg som fungerat bra. Sammanfattningsvis visade resultatet på att idrottslärare har god relation till ämnet hälsa men det varierar om hälsa borde få mer eller mindre utrymme. Lärarna försökte också integrera hälsa i de fysiska aktiviteterna men hade utmaningar att få eleverna att förstå att hälsa är viktigt och att det finns hälsa i fysiska sammanhang.

Abstract [en]

The perspective on health can be seen in different ways depending on which value the teachers has to the perspective. Physical education teachers assessment of the subject can variate and the integrity of health in teaching can be vary depending on the teacher. The purpose of this study is to investigate PE teachers perspective on health in the subject sports and health. The choice for the role as a teacher is discussed and the question of health place is raised. What makes this study interesting is that PE teachers own thoughts on the subject are taken up and they are allowed to problematize and give thoughts themselves. The problem in this study includes answer how the teachers teach health, their challenges in health education and if their background affect their health education. The study uses KASAM as a theoretical framework. In this study the method consisted of a qualitative method with semi structured interviews. The sample had variation of females and male PE teachers where their experience with their PE role varies. The result answered the problem, the answers gave a common main factor to their choice of PE teacher. They also answered mixed challenges in health education as well as an answer that suggest that the background can affect their education to some extent. The results were summarized where teachers have a good relationship with health but having different answers to whether heath should be giving more or less space in school. The teachers also tried to intergrade heath into activates bud had challenges getting the students to understand that heath is important and that heath is included in physical contexts.
