Digital vernissage : A study of Kristinehamn Art museum´s exhibition Katja of Swedenduring the Covid-19-pandemic (English)
Abstract [en]
The purpose of this essay has been to analyse how a museum has been operating during the Covid-19-pandemic. Kristinehamn Art museum's digitalised vernissage of the exhibition Katja of Sweden has been the primary subject for the analysis.
The analysis used in this essay is narrative analysis and museum analysis. The main theory that i have used is a combination of diffrent theories from the book Museipedagogik: Konsten att visa en utställning by Monica Cassel, which all were used to analyse the video colips produced by the museum.
This hav led me to the conclusions that the museum has tried its best during the Covid-19-pandemic. The preformance in the video clips wasn't perfect in every aspect, but this is understandeble since the pandemic was unplanned. The production an publication of the video clips increased the digital accessibility of the exhebition.
