The one who walks and toddle : - A survey about toddler's interaction in play (English)
Abstract [en]

This survey is about to bring the competent child in to the light. Focus will be laid at the youngest children so they won’t be forgotten in this society. The concept toddler will be used in this survey that means children under three years old, the one who walks and toddle. The purpose with this survey is to contribute with an understanding about toddler’s interaction in play. In order to look into toddlers interaction in play observations among the youngest children in a preschool was necessary. The results indicate that toddlers do interact in play in many ways, either having their bodies in focus or letting the verbal speech control the interaction. The toddlers sense of humour and it’s reiteration in play have a tendency to be near in their existence. Toddler’s interaction in play often starts around an active child and often ends with something external disrupting the ongoing interaction.
