Religious coping among cancer affected Catholics : A study of catholics religious coping and its expression (English)
Abstract [en]

This is a study of the coping strategies and religious coping employed by catholics and how they have shared it in public writing on webpublications. It uses the theoretical framework and typology of the ”Many Methods of Religious Coping” as developed by K. I Pargament and the practical definitions used by F. Ahmadi to analyse the manner in which the catholic writers of the texts used religious coping to deal with the pain and suffering of cancer. This study uses narrative analysis combined with F. Ahmadis religious coping and coping styles definitions to produce its results from its source material of web published texts in Catholic publications with catholic authors.
