Sammanfattning

Studiens syfte är att beskriva uppfattningen av socialt stöd mellan lärare. Hur kan det stödet se ut och vilka olika former av stöd förekommer. Teorierna jag använt är Karasek och Theorell´s krav-kontroll och stödmodell, Linérs stödverkyg, Berntson och Härenstam´s klusterteori samt teorin kring empati som begrepp. 

Metoden som används är kvalitativ och jag har genomfört en semistrukturerad intervjustudie med fem olika informanter där jag med hjälp av en intervjuguide ställt frågor kring socialt stöd, kollegialitet och uppfattningen av stöd från verksamhetens ledning.

Resultatet visar att det hos mina informanter finns en uppfattning av ett gott socialt stöd. Om något inträffar som gör att man i sitt arbete behöver stöd antingen på ett emotionellt eller praktiskt sätt så finns det kollegor som ställer upp och tar sig tid.  Dock så visar resultatet på brister kring att det i de flesta fall inte verkar finnas användbara policys eller insatser inom skolan för att på ett tidigt stadie kunna förutse ett bristande välmående hos anställda lärare.

Abstract

This is a study with a purpose that concerns the perception of social support between teachers. What can that support look like and what different forms of support exist. The theories I used are Karsek and Theorell´s requirements-control and support model, Linérs support tool, Berntson and Härenstam´s cluster theory and the theory of empathy as a concept.

The method used is qualitative and with the help of an interviewguide I have asked questions about social support, collegiality, perception about the school´s management and well-being effort.

The result shows that my informants have an perception of good social support. If something happens that requires support in their work either emotionally or practically then there are colleagues who line up and take the time. However, the results show shortcomings that in most cases do not appear to be useful policies or interventions within the school to be able to foresee a lack of well-being of staff teachers at an early stage.
