With the computer as a writing tool : A study of the ASL method, writing to read (English)
Abstract [en]

The purpose of this essay is to give active educators an idea of ​​the advantages and disadvantages of the ASL method and to see if writing and reading learning differs in the student group depending on the method used to teach writing and reading learning. To answer the study's purpose, the researcher has conducted four interviews with active teachers who have worked with the ASL method. And conducted a questionnaire survey where the researcher received 58 responses. Based on this empirical study, the result shows that the respondents only have a positive response when to give students the opportunity to create their own produced texts using technical aids. Where the students show that they can write and read their own works. The respondents, however, considered that technology problems were a major disadvantage for working with the ASL method, but this is not a negative criticism of the ASL method itself, but the artifacts used by the school.

Abstract [sv]

Syftet med denna uppsats är att verksamma pedagogers uppfattning om ASL-metodens fördelar samt nackdelar och för att se om skriv- och läsinlärning skiljer sig åt i elevgruppen beroende på vilken metod man använder för att lära ut skriv- och läsinlärning. För att besvara studiens syfte har forskaren genomfört fyra intervjuer med verksamma lärare som arbetat med ASL-metoden. Samt genomfört en enkätundersökning där forskaren fick in 58 svar. Utifrån denna empirundersökning visar resultatet att respondenterna endast har positiv respons att ge till att elever skapar egenproducerade texter med hjälp av tekniska hjälpmedel. Där eleverna visar att de kan skriva och läsa sina egna alster. Respondenterna ansåg dock att teknikproblem var en stor nackdel för att arbeta med ASL-metoden, men detta är inte negativ kritik mot ASL-metoden i sig utan de artefakter som skolan använder sig av.
