In this report I present the results of an investigation into the problems concerning pupils with concentrationdifficulties. Interviews with teachers from primary and middle school show that visionary ideas and their practical implementation are fundamentally different things. The point of this investigation is to gain increased knowledge by interviewing a few teachers about concentration problems in students. The investigation has also been done with an aim to start a debate on these problems. Schools must be better prepared to admit pupils with these problems and my conclusion is that a substantial increase of instruction is needed to enable the teachers to cope with the practical and pedagogical needs of these pupils. There must also be an ongoing discussion at the schools about the practical teaching of these pupils, through exchange of experience and good examples so that we don’t unnecessarily have to make the same mistakes all over again. I denna rapport presenteras resultaten från en undersökning om problematiken kring elever med koncentrationssvårigheter. Kvalitativa intervjuer med lärare inom låg- och mellanstadiet i grundskolan visar att visionära idéer och praktisk genomförbarhet är två vitt skilda ting. Syftet med undersökningen är att genom intervjuer få ökad kunskap utifrån några lärares uppfattningar om problematiken kring elevers koncentrationssvårigheter. Detta för att med bakgrund av litteratur och dessa intervjuer starta en debatt genom att lyfta frågor som rör elever med koncentrationssvårigheter. Skolan behöver ha en större beredskap för att ta emot elever med dessa svårigheter och slutsatsen blir att en kraftfull satsning på utbildning behövs, för att lärarna ska bli bättre rustade att praktiskt och pedagogiskt möta de här eleverna. Dessutom måste det, i skolan, till mer samtal om det praktiskt pedagogiska undervisningsarbetet kring de här eleverna.
