The purpose of this examination was to describe and compare different views of art education among educationists within special school, preschool and compulsory school. By studying literature I have received a historical perspective on the art subjekt. I have interviwed six educationists from different fields of activity. I have further interpreted the views of art education that came out of the interviews, and describe these under the different categories. This study has given me a better insight in how different the art subject is regarded in the different school areas. I have seen that an aware educationist can bring out the possibilities of art to the children, and what the subject then can used for. Syftet med undersökningen var att beskriva och jämföra olika uppfattningar om bildämnet bland pedagoger inom särskola, förskola och grundskola. Genom litteraturstudier har jag fått ett historiskt perspektiv på bildämnet. Jag har intervjuat sex pedagoger från de olika verksamhetsområdena. Deras uppfattningar som kom fram ur intervjumaterialet har jag tolkat och redovisar under olika kategorier. Den här studien har gett mig insikt om hur olika bild uppfattas i de olika skolformerna. Jag har sett vad bild kan användas till när det finns medvetna pedagoger som plockar fram bildens möjligheter för barnen.
