Arbete med musik, bild och rörelse i skolan - är det speciellt bra för barn med autism
2005 (Swedish)Independent thesis Basic level (professional degree)Student thesis
Abstract [en]

The purpose with my examination was to find out how children with the diagnose autism can develop knowledge through aesthetic subjects. I also wanted to get a greater knowledge about children with autism. My exam is about children with the diagnose autism; how they behave in different kinds of situations an how they develop knowledge through arts, music gymnastics and drama. The methods I used were interviews and observations. From the beginning I thought that all children with autism loved to work with all aesthetic subjects, but through my investigation I have come to the conclusion that every child is an individual; you have to start out from a persons individual knowledge and specific type of autism to know what is the most suitable aesthetic subject to use; and how to use it in class.
