The purpose of this report is to explain how students in the new teacher education fulfil the essential requirement of working in groups. Another purpose is to see if there is a difference in attitudes between student in different sphere of activities, and also how they understand the work in groups in general. In the theory part, which is summarized on the basis of the essential requirement of working in groups, groupdynamics and processes, can we read how the groups ought to be compound for full effectivity and good social relations. In total, 83 teacher students answer the questionnaire that unlie for this report. The questionnaire was presented by the author himself at the general education area. The results of the survey shows that the students on a large scale are in favour of studying in groups in general, but also over the sphere of activities. The survey does not show any differentiate in attitudes and opinions between teacher students in different sphere of activities.
