Liten undervisningsgrupp sett ur ett elevperspektiv
2005 (Swedish)Independent thesis Basic level (professional degree)Student thesis
Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

The purpose with my essay is to find out how six senior students, of the nine year school, with disabilities, placed in small educational groups, have experienced and are experiencing their situation from their own perspective. The character of the studie has been quality based on open interview questions with the purpose not to control the interviewees, and in the most optimal way depict their experiences of their time in school. The most outstanding results was that the majority of the students who today participate in a small educational group, wanted to go back to their original classes, if the choice was theirs. It was also obvious that the students prefered their original classes instead of the small groups they were placed in. Although, one of the drawbacks of being in the original class was that the environment was louder and rowdier which inflicted on their concentration and ability to learn. There is also a connection between the students who lack insignt in their condition and the reason why they have to be in a small group.
