This work is a study over things that are important for pupil’s motivation. What makes the children eager to learn? And how can you as a teacher teach them the importance of the learning for life. I interviewed teachers who the principals regarded as motivated teachers, and I have also made a frame of reference from literature to get more information. My solution is to take care of all pupils, learn what they like to do in school and after school, what interests they have and how they learn. If you do this you are on the right way to get them to learn more. If you also include open questions as a method you will also get new experience and might see the wisdom grow in you and the children. Make high goals and let the children reach them with your or other kid’s help. And all of a sudden you have motivated kids! And of course smile and use democracy to get to the goals you have planned with the children, use the world and the news of today to go there. Don’t do the same things as you always have, make changes and listen to the children how to do it. Go on courses to learn more and use the parents as a help to get to the goal. Prevent bad things to happen as much as you can and help the parents to do the same. Motivation, learning, democracy, open questions, high goals, variation.
