"Liten grupp" för högstadieelever med Aspberger syndrom - bra eller dåligt?
2005 (Swedish)Independent thesis Basic level (professional degree)Student thesis
Abstract [en]

I have chosen to do a research about a new school unit for students diagnosed with the Asperger syndrome. I have chosen this because I am interested in both childrens and adults ideas of being placed in a small unit. I have used interviews as a method. I have interviewed students who begun in a small unit this fall. Earlier they belonged to regular classes in communal schools. I have also interviewed the personnel of the new unit. By reading relevent litterature I have gained a historical view on separation of students in need of special support and also what some researchers of today think of segregated tutoring. The interviews I made show that both students and personnel has a positive view of being a member of a small unit.
