Pedagogers inställning till lek
2005 (Swedish)Independent thesis Basic level (professional degree)Student thesis
Abstract [en]

Purpose The purpose of the study is to examine and compare pre- and comprehensive school teachers views on play as a learning method. Method The study is a qualitative field survey where I have used "open" questions. The survey was carried out with three preschool teathers and three comprehensive school teachers that all worked at the same school. I taped the interviews and analysed, categorized and summarised them later. Result The result showed that all of the pedagogues had the same views concerning play as a learning method. Both the preschool and the comprehensive school teathers considered play to be a good learning method. By the survey answers it also appeared that the pedagogues considered play to be vital for the learning and development in children. Conclusion The conclusion of the examination is that even thought pre- and comprehensive school teachers consider play to be a good learning method it doesn´t mean that they neccesary will put the method in to practise.
