Today is the Swedish society multicultural. We have in our Swedish nursery-schools many children with immigrant backgrounds. The aim with this work, is to look in to how/if the personel work with more cultures, than the Swedish culture in the nursery-school and also give tip on how to work multicultural in the nursery-school. This work consists one literaturestudy, one investigation part with interviews and enquetes and a part with analysis, conclusions and reflections. Many of the literature touches what you should think about when you are working multicultural in the nursery-school, but it also contains many concrete tip that you can use in your multicultural work. The investigation of this work consists a combination of enquetes and interviews, with the aim of to examine how some nursery-schools in Vingåkers and Forshagas municipalities are working with culture. The results of the investigation shows that they do not work with any other cultures than the Swedish cultur at the nursery-schools, at this moment. If they work with something multicultural, they work with likness and differences. They discuss skincolours, food and clothes, together with the children. Most of the nursery-school teachers are thinking that they not have enough nowledge about how to work multicultural, but they would like to get education in the subject if they had the possibility to get it.
