Strategier hos lärare när de planerar för barn med koncentrationssvårigheter
2005 (Swedish)Independent thesis Basic level (professional degree)Student thesis
Abstract [en]

To prepare your teaching is one of the most important tasks for teacher. The hardest thing is to plan the teaching for children with special needs. In this investigation have I looked at the strategies that teachers use when they plan their teaching for children with concentration difficulties. The pupils are have trouble to work on their own and they need help to start their work in school. Two interviews gave me new thoughts about and answers to my questions concerning how teachers plan lessons and what factors they consider. I have searched for different planning strategies in the teacher´s answers and I have also searched the literature for statements that can verify the thoughts that the teaching have. In the book Lpo 94 you can read that “the school has a specialle responsebilaty for the pupils that hav different resons and difficulties to reach the goals. That is whay the teaching never can be formulate the same for everybody” Factors that comes back both in the literature and in the interviews as important to the teachers when he/she plan their teaching for those pupils is to have short and long-term goals that you can evaluate. It is important to start whith the pupils condition, needs and interest and that the physical and psychological environment must be right at the same time as the collaboration with the homes and remedial teacher. In my work as a teacher I will bump in to pupils that have different needs of specialle support. Every pupil has a common need for clarification, structure and a good self-esteem. But all children must have the opportunity to gain knowledge. All adults in school must be serious about the responsability and help the students carry this through. The composition has left me with several new thoughts about how I as a teacher can increase my skills in planning in different levels. A careful planning in school is necessary for all children, but it is most crucial for children whith special needs
