Att möta varje enskild elev - några pedagogers uppfattningar
2005 (Swedish)Independent thesis Basic level (professional degree)Student thesis
Abstract [en]

The aim of this study is to analyse some teachers´ opinions of their possibilities to fulfil the instructions of the curriculum and teachers´ professional ethical principles. The method used in this study was interviews. I have made interviews with six teachers´ at three different schools. The study indicates that the teachers´ thought that the instructions were good, but hard to fulfil. This could be due to large classes or pupils with special needs of support. In spite of this fact, the results shows that their opinions were that teachers´ should have the ambition to fulfil the instructions. The study also indicates, how the teachers´ I interviewed said that they tried to adjust their teaching to be able to fulfil the instructions. The implications of the study are that teachers´ wants to fulfil the instructions, but they are not given the prerequisites to do it. The schools nowadays do not offer the possibility to fulfil the instructions. The implications are also, the teachers´ have different ways to adjust their teaching. The diffrent adjustments are for example special needs education, small groups and to vary the teaching. Keywords: *teaching *individual adjustment *teachers´ responsibility *pedagogy
