The purpose with my examination was to find out in what way pedagogues have possibility to influence colour scheme in the classroom and how pedagogues can pay attention to all pupils in the class when they decorate a classroom. I have by interviews of two pedagogues in the earlier grades of a nine-year compulsory school, two pedagogues in the later of a nine-year compulsory school, an architect and a colourist examined what they think about how colours affect them. I have also asked them if they think that is possible to decorate a classroom so it can suit all the pupils in the class and if pedagogues see a difference in pupil’s work that depend on which colours they surrounded by. In the outline of the literature I illustrate what strategic plans, procedures and literature have to say about meaning of colours and influence and also what researchers have found out. The result shows that the people that I interviewed understand the meaning of colours very well but because of the economic aspects it is hard to get through bigger re-paintings. It can however be possible to do a lot with small means so that respect can takes to so many pupils as possible.
