Svenskundervisning i särskolan
2004 (Swedish)Independent thesis Basic level (professional degree)Student thesis
Abstract [en]

In my examwork I have looked into the swedish language education in specialschools. I have interviewed three specialschool teachers about how they work with swedish in their classes. I have had an interest in children with special needs for a long time now and I would like to work with children in need of specialschool when I am a fully educated teacher. Swedish, and language of all kinds, are a very important tool to be able to communicate, think and make all sorts of understandings with other people. That is why I have decided to look deeper into the swedish language teaching. My questions where; how teaching the swedish subject works in the specialschools, what the teachers believe belongs to teaching area and how the courseplans are followed in the specialschools. Through my interviews I have been told how three different specialschool teachers work and what they think the subject involves. I have also compared their answers versus what are in the courseplans for swedish in basicspecialschool and communication for trainingschool. Swedish Education Special school Communication
