Abstract [en]

The sense of this work is to get more knowledge how you can generate a child's language proficiency in a nursery school. The research work describes how they work on a nursery school with children's language proficiency and communication. With this research work I have got much new knowledge about how to promote a child's language proficiency and communication. I have visited a language nursery school in Västra Götaland where I interviewed a speech therapist and a teacher about how the language nursery school works and how they are training the children's language proficiency. The interviews were separate, they where recorded on a tape and both interviews where put together in to a connected text. I chose this language nursery school because this is the nearest one to my home. I have written about what language and speech disabilities are, I have collected all material from Internet, course literature and other books. The material from Aphasia Alliance and the material from the language nursery school are collected in this work. My conclusion is that it is a more individualized way to work than in a regular nursery school activity. Key words: 1. Aesthetic material 2. Communication 3. Language nursery school 4.
