In this quantitative study university students attitudes towards plagiarism in Sweden and Turkey are compared. I also give a brief overview of the problem and defines plagiarism, focusing on causes in the learning process and possible effects without a clear academic integrity policy. My major hypothesis was that no differences between answers given although they would reflects attitudes. Answers given in the questionnaire have been interpreted according to Blooms taxonomy Differences are to be found in cognitive activities on various levels of knowledge. Statistical methods for collecting and interpreting data have been in use. Independent t-tests to ascertain possible significance ,correlations according to Pearson in purpose finding patterns between answers given. t- tests indicates significant differeces between groups measured. Correlations according to Pearson measured between groups of questions indicating consistency within answers given from the Turkish sample .To maintain reliability within the questionnaire Cronbach alpha tests have been in use.
