Känsla av sammanhang och studiesituation - en enkätstudie
2001 (Swedish)Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor)Student thesis
Abstract [sv]

Enkäten konstruerades i två delar.

Abstract [en]

This survey studys main purpose was to examine if there is any relationsship between Aaron Antonovskys concept sensce of coherence and students experience of their possibilities to influence their study situation. The study also aims to examine if students consider that it is important to influence and if there are any differences between different groups of students. Three different groups of students was included in the survey: teachers, engineers and economists. These students was parted in two groups: students who recently initiated their studies and students who soon will finish their studies. The inquiry was constructed in two parts. The first part consisted of Antonovsky’s instrument that measures sensce of coherence and the second part consisted of questions about the students study situation. Totally 150 students was included in the survey. The main result of the survey is that individuals whit a stronger sensce of coherence has a tendency to experience their possibilities to influence their study situation as better. In reference to influence, students who recently initiated their studies experienced them as better than students who soon will finish their studies.
