Marknadsundersökningen - och sen då? - vad som påverkar resultatanvändandet från en marknadsundersökning
2005 (Swedish)Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor)Student thesis
Abstract [en]

All written about communication and information today points out a huge surplus of information. The person responsible for the communication in an organisation has a comprehensive work to locate his audience, find out their needs and requirements of products, services, and information, and to find out which is the best communication media to use. Market research and its result are tools for the manager of communication to use. There is a complexity in what affect the utilisation of the result of a market research, and there are various factors that come into play. We have in our investigation endeavoured to find out connections between and patterns of the factors in the market research process that affect the use of the result. We can conclude that no factor alone determines the outcome of the result; instead it is rather a combination of several factors that matters. The factors that have the major impact are, for one thing, if the member has a natural connection to the research subject, and that they can actively part-take in the process and the use of the result. Further, there needs to be a plan for how to deal with the result, and how to apply it in the organisation in the beginning of the market research process. When all parts have been appropriately considered, and have been performed well, the implementation gets the best result and the market research have come to its highest utilisation. In our investigation we also have noticed that market research is an unused media for communication.
