Information- och kommunikationsprocesser i två nätverksorganisationer
2002 (Swedish)Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor)Student thesis
Abstract [en]

The aim of this essay is by a communication theoretic perspective examine information and communicationprocesses in two network organizations, Foundation Compare and The Paper Province, and compare these two. With the investigation we hoped to find how the company members wanted the information from the network orgnaizations to look like and what medium they preffered to use. At the same time we also hoped to find if the network organizations are distinguished from eachother since they focus on different lines of buisness. We meant to fulfil the aim of the essay with help from a quantitative method. We made an quetionnaire survey, where the company members answered questions about information and communication within the networkorganization. We also completed the quetionnaire survey with qualitative questions to get both deep and breadth on the investigation. It has been made within the information and communication area many previous investigations. We have however choosen to limit ourselves to certain theories within organizations- and communications theories such as Shannon and Weavers communication model, Elton Mayos internal communication theory and Alfred Marshalls theory about network organizations. After we applicated the theories we choosed about how good information and succesful communication should look like, the result shows that the member companies generally finds the network to be good communicators. It also shows that the both networkorganizations don`t differ appreciably, when it comes to information and communication processes.
