Abstract [en]

The aim of this thesis work was to identify a method to reduce conversion times in cog-group 1 in joint action with the quality check. In addition to this detect simplifications in the conversion-work and investigate the current situation on Componenta Albin in Kristinehamn. This thesis work has resulted in a close description of the two methods SPL (Systematic problem solving) and SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Die). Both of these methods are applicable methods of working with reduction in conversion times. Fundamental experiments have been carried through with help from the two methods and these attempt shows that the circumscribed methods could be applicable in cog-group 1. By carrying through this thesis work I hope that Componenta Albin has gotten a few fresh suggestions on how to work with the conversion times in cog-group 1 in joint action with the quality check.
