Insomnia as prediction of subjective perception : An quantitative case study about insomnia and subjective perception (English)
Abstract [sv]

The participants' sleep problems were measured by a self-estimated sleep patterns based on the instrument ISI Insomnia Severity Index and the participant's cognitive ability was measured based on the measuring instrument DBAS 10- Dysfunctional belifs and attitudes about sleep. The study examined through a correlation and regression analysis. The results showed a positive correlation between insomnia and subjective perception. By regression analysis demonstrated a relatively low value of variance. The conclusion of the study is that insomnia is a common problem for individuals in health care occupation, and insomnia has an effect on subjective perception but there are other influencing factors which also play a role in the outcome.
