Vilka fördelar kan UML-modellering av fönsternavigation ge vid GUI-design?
2005 (Swedish)Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor)Student thesis
Abstract [en]

This study’s purpose is to evaluate a UML modeling method for working with window navigation for a GUI design, using a CASE tool. As a complement to the evaluation, interviews were performed to get comments from other people to find out if the modeling result gives any profits for work with GUI design or not. The chosen working method was the result of an extensive literature search and the decision was to model the window navigation with an alternative UML activity diagram. The conclusion of the study is that modeling window navigation of a GUI design gives many different benefits. Some of the benefits are however a result of modeling being performed with a CASE tool. The strongest conclusion in the study is that modeling window navigation gives benefits in the GUI design workning process. The study, on the other hand, can not prove that UML is the notation to use for modeling window navigation. But for people who already knows UML it could give a benefit.
