Stressors impact on employees’ productivity in various office solutions (English)
Abstract [sv]
Abstract [en]
It has been shown that office solutions can be a part of employees’ health and how they perform at work. This quantitative study focus on how different stressors affect employees’ productivity in the office solutions; cell offices, open-plan offices and activity-based offices. The results from the study showed that stressors differ between the office solutions. It also showed that stressors affect the employees’ perceived productivity negatively. However, the study showed that some stressors were not as apparent as others were. The results indicate that cell offices do not have as many stressors as open-plan offices and activity-based offices. In cell offices employees have more control on how affected they get by these stressors. The study also showed that employees in cell offices experienced increased productivity.
