Differentialgeometri
1998 (Swedish)Independent thesis Advanced level (degree of Master (One Year))Student thesis
Abstract [en]

This essay is an introduction to differential geometry. We study in chapter 1 and 2 curves and their properties, such as curvature and torsion, and we prove the Freinets equations and characterise those curves with constant curvature and torsion. In chapter 3 we examine surfaces and their curvature and their relation with curvature of curves. The last chapter is dedicated to Gauss-Bonnets theorem.
